Surf’s Up

It is a mere 19 months since we first conceived Crowd Surfing in a drunken conversation at The Groucho Club.  Like spawning salmon we returned last night to The Groucho to officially launch the book.

Malcolm Gladwell’s The Tipping Point described how a small and energised group of advocates could ‘tip’ a product or brand to success.  Hopefully last night was the beginning of our viral campaign.  Thanks to Colin Byrne and James Cherkoff for being the first off the mark with their book reviews. 

We are really pleased that the most frequently used word by everyone who has read the book so far is ‘readable’ … there is enough marketing and business jargon out there already without us adding to it.  We would love to know what other readers think.
